Mr Tomio Alan Komatsu, an American, aged 38 was appointed as a Director of Opcom Holdings Berhad on 12 September 2003. He is a member of the Audit Committee. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Asian Studies from Williams College in Massachusetts, USA, and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charter holder. He is currently Executive General Manager, Investment Operations with Shanghai Dragon Investment (SDI). Prior to SDI, he was Vice President with JPMorgan, specializing in corporate finance and mergers & acquisitions. Previously, he was Acquisition & Development Manager for an affiliate of Chase Capital Partners. He was also formerly an investment banker with Lehman Brothers based in New York, Tokyo, Hong Kong and Singapore.
